The Washington Student Cycle League (WSCL) is a composite based mountain bike program facilitated by WSCL licensed coaches. Teams are community, regionally, or school based, similar to intramural, school club or interscholastic sports.
The WSCL League is for beginners through advanced mountain bikers grades 5 through 12 that want to focus on goal-setting, building fitness, skills progression and possibly competition.

The Washington Student Cycle League Spring League consists of 4 races with a State Championship, and our Fall League is a smaller, shorter version with 2 races.

In order to be a Cross Country Rider, you will need to:
Sign the Pac Rat Participant Waiver and Release Form. We will then send you more information and a link to sign up for the WSCL through our team.
Once you have the link, sign up through the Washington Student Cycle League.

Prepare for the conditions! If it is hot out, make sure you bring plenty of water. Snacks are also always a good idea. You will also want to have layers for cold and rainy rides. Don’t forget your bike and helmet either!

During race weekends, most of our Pac Rat families typically camp and make group meals together. WSCL provides large camping spaces for teams. Families split costs on food, cook, help set up and break down the team tent area, and find other ways to pitch in.
